History of the DrillCatcher
I had an old stick drill for 15 years and I finally bought a new 18 volt drill. My first job with it was on a 3 storey scaffold. My old leather drill holster could not be trusted to hold my new drill. I bought the best hook available and took it home. It did not take long to figure out that I could not trust it to carry my new $300 drill safely on the scaffold without dropping it.

I made my own hook and climbed the scaffold. I noticed that everyone else on the job was watching me dropping it into the holder without looking (while swinging around the scaffold), bumping it, crawling with it, working with my drill and not dropping it.

I started making it for everybody on the job-site. Then I realized that there's NOTHING out there that can do what my drillholder can do. I knew just by the reaction of those on the job-site that this was something that we all needed, something our industry has been waiting for…
